Dr Leow Khang Leng is a Consultant Cardiologist with 12 years of experience in cardiology and 7 years in interventional cardiology.
He subspecialises in Interventional Cardiology and has been performing percutaneous coronary interventions both elective and emergency settings.
Common heart conditions treated by Dr Leow include coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure and chronic total occlusions.
Dr Leow is well-versed in English, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien.
Dr Leow subspecialises in Interventional Cardiology at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney. Upon completion of his training, he returned to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) in 2012 and was part of the team that helped build the 24-hour Primary Angioplasty Service in the northern region of Singapore.
During his time at KTPH, Dr Leow held many key leadership positions, including Director of Coronary Care Unit, Clinical Lead for the cardiac catheterization laboratory, Director of Cardiovascular Centre, as well as the Chairman of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee. He also sits at the hospital Medical Device Committee and represents the hospital at the National Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meetings.
